The Sudbury Estate, a traditional rural Estate in the Dove valley of south Derbyshire, is centred on the 17th century village of Sudbury, most of which is Estate owned.
The property includes historic and modern housing, livestock and arable farms, other commercial enterprises, woodlands and walled gardens. There are a wide variety of residential and commercial let properties. The Estate carries out a rolling programme of renewals and refurbishments, and a major investment to convert the former Estate Yard into commercial/retail outlets is due to complete in summer 2016 (see 'Sudbury Courtyard').
Sudbury is located close to the A50/A515 dual carriageway junctions, between Uttoxeter
(5 miles) and Derby (13 miles). The Estate is managed by Savills, Lichfield.
17th century Sudbury Hall is open to the public and is in the separate ownership of the National Trust (NT).
